I use prepaid MasterCard to pay at Costco. Usually buy them at a grocery store (500$) + 9.95$ activation fee.
I'm now seeing these new cards: Secure Spend for 7.95$ activation fee.
Anyone ever tried them? What's the catch? Do they have no-use fees? Or monthly fees? Or is it really just the 7.95$ activation?

Lots of DPs of people being shutdown for using cobalt for prepaid credit cards. So far seems it's only effecting those that are using the reloadable credit cards though.

I've used the Secure Spend bought from Circle K. They work fine, like any other gift card. The one I bought is not reloadable.
