Yes. Dropped off a package at the post office this morning (prepaid label), got a receipt with the correct tracking number on it. The Canada Post tracking page still says "We didn’t find an item associated with this number". In the past, updates used to be in near real-time. Might be a delay in whatever data sync process they're using for tracking. More on reddit.com

Canada Post doesn't track 99% of parcels once it arrives in the country. Just accept that it's within borders now, and will be chilling somewhere in a warehouse probably within 10 km of you for the next few weeks. One day it will show up in your mailbox and you will be pleasantly surprised.
I've had multiple items ship and arrive in Canada in days, and then get stuck for a month or two.

I ordered an item from BC which I have been doing monthly through the same seller for 4 years with 0 issues.
This time, the seller shipped the item and sent me a tracking number as usual(xpresspost). But the tracking number can’t be found by Canada post…
I contacted the seller who insists the item was shipped. I trust them as I know the sellers personally and have been using them for years with no issues. Canada post claims the item hasn’t reached the post office….
What’s going on here…

Depends on the timeline! I work in shipping so usually when a label is generated and printed, tracking will show as ‘not available’ until it’s picked up by CP and have scanned the manifest. If a manifest hasn’t printed due to technical error or whatever other reason, they need to scan all packages individually which does take longer. Give it until Monday and if nothing has changed, try filing a claim! I’ve had packages gone missing because someone took it (aka my landlord’s visiting parents) and CP emailed and called me asking if the package was ever found. Hope this helps!

Is anyone having issues with Canada post tracking not updating even tho I got a text alert saying my package was delivered to my community mailbox. The tracking number is still active and says it will be delivered tomorrow. I’m so confused has anyone had issues like this before?

Canada post has gone to total shit the last 2 years. Seems to be a random outage/problem every couple of weeks.
