November 21, 2025 - The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS or Cyber Centre; French: Centre Canadien pour la Cyber Sécurité) is the Government of Canada authority responsible for monitoring threats, protecting national critical infrastructure against cyber incidents, and coordinating the national response to any incidents related to cyber security.

The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (the Cyber Centre) is part of the Communications Security Establishment Canada. It is the single unified source of expert advice, guidance, services and support on cyber security for Canadians.

On June 12, 2018, Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan announced Mr. Scott Jones as the first Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre).

CSE is Canada's national cryptologic agency, providing the Government of Canada with information technology security and foreign signals intelligence services.

The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (Cyber Centre) is part of the Communications Security Establishment Canada (CSE) and opened in 2018 as a key initiative under Canada’s National Cyber Security Strategy.

SSC also gathers, analyzes, consolidates and facilitates the sharing of operational threat and vulnerability information related to the common IT services and Government IT critical infrastructure they manage, and communicates the information to the Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre and, as authorized, to departments and cyber security partners. Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) ensures that Canadians have access to a world class communications system, while protecting Canadians from unsolicited communications and contributing to a more secure online environment for consumers and businesses.
