I may be a minority with this opinion, but I really enjoy shopping at Canadian Tire. In-Store and On-line. There are good deals to be had.

I have a couple Q's about CT if a few employees wouldn't mind chiming in...

First, I wanted to know about how to tell if a store is Independently operated or corporate operated. And what the difference is. I've noticed that the 5 scores in my area can potentially stock vastly different items in some departments. it may be due to the size of the store, or the demographic of the area, but maybe there is another factor?

Also "clearance items". There are some great deals in clearance. But sometimes hard to find on the shelves due to all the other dales tags. Some stores have orange clearance tags, other are just the standard Yellow. How often or at what frequency to items go on clearance? is it a daily thing that head office sends down a list, accompanied with the appropriate tags?

Is there any way to be notified of items that have just gone on clearance? Thanks
