I own a retail store and have recently committed to only carrying Canadian made products. We have a candy section which has taken a big hit when I removed an the imported items, and I'm looking for Canadian made candy products! Gummies, caramel, taffy, bubble gum, hard candy, fun things for kids, that kind of stuff.

I already stock Canadian made cotton candy, chocolates and hot chocolate but not having much luck with the rest.

For anyone looking through here for the same thing, here's what I found. Not a ton of candy manufacturers in Canada (lots of chocolates/fudge though)

I ordered from:

Candylabs in QC - SUPER cute products and delicious, they arents as hard as they look, like little crunchy bursts of flavour

Big Sky in Toronto - things like hard candies and mints in cute tins

Wildly Canadian in Thunderbay - a bunch of gummy options

Kerrs in Oakville - more hard candies mostly

And a useful resource was Faire - an online wholesale distributor for smaller brands, they let you filter by made in Canada though double check the results, some of them were clearly mislabelled.

Hello fellow candy lovers! I recently bought lots of candies and other snacks here in Canada and had a bit of a tough time finding legitimate reviews online. So I thought I would post about the online stores I used in case someone needs a guide for reputable places to buy from in Canada.

Curious to see if anyone has non-Canadian stores that they recommend that won’t break the bank in terms of shipping costs and time.

If you have any other recommendations, I will happily add it to the list (just leave a comment below):

Candy Funhouse: Great selection of items, including snacks that have been discontinued in Canada. Shipping to GTA July 2024 was $11.
Twisted Schweets: Great selection of items, was able to find unique snacks that I wasn’t able to find elsewhere. Shipping to GTA June 2024 was $15 for several items. Pretty quick shipment, arrived 1-2 days after I ordered. Has bulk candy similar to Poppin Candy without the 1+ month wait.
Candy Heaven Pop Shop (shared by another member of the sub)
Swedishcandyland (shared by another member of the sub, they mentioned $14 shipping even though it’s coming straight from Sweden!)
