Hello everyone,

Yesterday I've tried installing corectrl from the AUR but, when I tried to run it, I get the following error:

What should I do? My machine's language was always set to en_US; I installed corectrl with yay -Sy corectrl (I also tried corectrl-git, still didn't work), and I also installed the optional dependencies, with no luck whatsoever.

My setup:

Arch Linux

WM: i3wm (no DEs installed)

Display Manager: LightDM

Display server: X11

I've checked Polkit and it runs just fine. I also tried installing the qt5 package group, but that did nothing to fix the issue.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

EDIT: solved by running corectrl with sudo

Yes. The installation was like any other AUR package. No problems here.

I installed the git version -> yay -S corectrl-git

Both versions run on Arch with Xfce using LightDM and PolKit, with running polkit.service and dbus.service.

pamac build corectl it will ask you to install needed dependencies to install, then build the package :grin:

SwampRabbit i found your .deb on the corectrl hub and with apt install ./file.deb its working perfect, all the depends will install.Is too much trouble to check depends with dpkg -I .deb and after install them 1 by 1. Maybe is not the most recommended way but for me is working.
