I’m looking to grab a portable printer for some prints (4 x 6 would be fine) when I’m out or at events.
I have seen many recommend the Canon Selphy CP1500. But the OEM battery to make it portable is almost as much as the printer itself. I’ve seen a few third party batteries.. but I’m not sure which brand to trust. Does anyone have any long term experience with a battery they can recommend?
Anyone tried or compared the Liene M200? Appears to be a direct competitor to the selphy, but with a built in battery model. But I’m not at all familiar with that brand or their quality.
hi,
Throwing a 4 year old's bday party and instead of giving out party favors, trying to give out a group photo on the spot that we would be taking. It'll have about 25 kids doing a jump together (there's thing called the "muddy puddle jump" in Peppa Pig). They'll be wearing rain boots or something colorful for their shoes and jumping together but on grass, not a puddle.
With that said, I did instax camera photos last year and it was a huge hit. But the quality sort of sucked as it was outdoors and i didn't know how to manage the settings well (or would it have made a difference? I don't know). But it was fine for 3 year olds.
Upgrading this year to real photos and with just one group photo, I can just print out 25 copies on the spot unlike last year having to take individual photos of the bday girl with each and every friend, twice!
If you read this thus far..I've looked up portable photo printers and i obviously need something that can go cordless as we are at the park. And also bluetooth enabled with my iphone as wifi won't be great if they have it. I also want it to be big enough so thought 4x6 was the way to go with that many kids in the photo jumping and it also needs to be a horizontal shot. I noticed lot of these portable photo printers tend to favor vertical shots.
Looking for real photo prints, not stickers. But if they have a sticker option to buy, sure, why not. Clear prints. I also was torn about getting a higher quality portable one that somewhat resembles a small printer so i can use it daily with family photos at home to hang....but maybe i just need to get a separate one for that instead and settle for the small cute easily carryable in my bag type of printer without sacrificing too much quality.
Again, if you have a suggestion that crosses over both, amazing!! Oh and i don't care if it's a no name brand.
Please help!!
