Anyone order a g7x mark iii from Henry’s Canada at the beginning of july? i placed an order july 8th and it aaid stock should be available by july 30th but b&h already received their stock and sent out some order this week!

Please can anyone let me know where I can find the canon g7x iii to purchase. I have literally checked every retailer and to no avail.

I've been doing lots of research on digital cameras for months, because like many, I am tired of smartphone pictures. I've been visiting retailers' websites, both small and large, for weeks in the hope of picking up this camera, new or used, to no avail. On a whim, I called a local camera store to find out what was the expected waiting time for this camera (a retailer in another city had told me, minutes before, up to twelve months) and I was flabbergasted to learn they had one unit in stock, some reserve customer that never picked it up. Needless to say, I immediately bought it. Those who have this camera, what interesting information and tips would you share with me? As context, in my youth I was very interested in 35mm photography, dabbling in studio photography at the university and even doing darkroom black and white photo impression (I have some nude artistic model pictures in a box, somewhere). However I must admit that I will have to relearn the basics.
