I'm going to be honest here. I used CineStyle for years on my 6D and even a little on my R when I first got it. Unless you're somehow shooting 10-bit don't even bother with flat or "log" style profiles. I find it does more damage than good when trying to grade. I've been getting my shoots to look right in camera with my R and then matching my Ursa Mini to it. Basically, get your lowest quality footage "right" and then match to that. It's hard to expand out 8-bit footage without it falling apart. More on reddit.com

I'd spend more time learning how to color correct and grade and not using what is essentially Instagram filters on your footage. I promise I'm not trying to sound like a dick but I'm just bummed that companies that make LUTs, like the visioncolor sets, have marketed them as color grading effects when they are in fact used for referencing color on monitors when filming in LOG profiles. Aside, they're doing really basic things that you could learn super easily with a little bit of playing around. Do you want an orange and teal look? Not hard to do manually. Same with any other style. I've used plenty of LUTs on canon DSLR footage and I promise you, it will never make it look "cinematic." Again...
