The LUTs convert C-log footage to rec709 without altering the colors, and can be used for quick turnaround, or as a starting point for further grading. To account for various types of lighting, both LUT packs include several different LUTs: - WideDR > retains the most highlight and shadow detail, useful as a starting point for your own grade, or for low-light footage - Natural > has a very smooth and natural highlight roll-off, add contrast to taste - Standard > slightly more contrast than the ‘Natural’ LUT, while retaining highlight detail - Strong > crushes the blacks and highlights for a more punchy look, also useful to boost colors and contrast on cloudy days The LUT pack also comes with a guide on how to use these LUTs in different situations.

I've found the official Canon C-Log conversion LUTs for my Canon EOS R6 here:

I'm a bit confused on how to use them. I know that the workflow should be "Import footage → Input LUT → Color correct → Color grade with creative LUT", but there are so many input LUTs given by the Canon website and I cannot find a proper explaination.
Inside the downloaded folder I find the following sub folders:

I've read that the B2020 is for HDR monitors and it is better to use B709 because it can be seen properly also on SDR monitors, but between B709 and Cinema Gamut which one is more advisable to use? (I'm talking of both the camera settings and the conversion color space).

Hi,
I just got the Canon R6 (Upgraded from EOS R) and wanted to give Log a try. But I always had a hard time finding a LUT for the footage.
Has anyone had some experience with some LUTS?

Boy howdy have I. I was completely puzzled by the Canon LUT download, b ut this guy has some that I got (I think they cost a few $) and they work brilliantly. BTW I got no dog in this fight. So, for example, if you shoot in CLOG3 with BT709 as the color space, you can use his Canon C-Log 3 BT.709 to Rec.709 files--he has a neutral one (ie no compensation) and a series reducing and adding stops so you can adjust the exposure. I find they work quite well. If this is confusing, feel free to DM me for more details.
