R6 mark II is more than enough camera for the vast majority of photographic needs. Personally, I’d only suggest an R5 if you can articulate a very specific need or use case.

I’d say the R6II is the “final boss of midrange” and the R6III is moving it out of mid range. Not many have need for 7k recording and the increase in megapixels (thus file size) and split storage card types moves it away from midrange into something more. More on reddit.com

Definitely the R6iii if you need stills. But keep in mind the FX3 has an XLR top handle - if you want the same audio functionality for Canon you’ll need to spend a few hundred on the Tascam XLR adapter. More on reddit.com
