I am a passionate Canon user (over two decades) and bought a Nikon because I was not willing to spend 1.800€ for the RF 14-35mm (even if money is actually not the issue). Got myself a Z6 with the 24-70 + 50mm 1.8 for the same amount instead. So far I am really loving the Z6 and hence added the 14-30 and 85 1.8 to my collection. After three month of use (I am an hobbyist not a pro) I have pros and cons for both systems: I still prefer the default Canon color output (Canon Standard, at least from the EOS R) over the Z6 standard profile (shooting raw but applying the mentioned profiles in post) and my keeper rate, epsc.
