Hey to everyone!
I’m pretty sure the EOS R has a video record time limit of 30 minutes.
How can I make it longer than that? I’m not sure if magic lantern would work on the EOS R.

Hello everybody! I need some suggestions with my canon R. I have to record a piano concert tha would take around 35 - 40 min and I cannot interrupt the recording. I understand that the csnon R will only record 30 mins. What will hsppen after that time? Does the camera stop recording or will start a new recording automatically? Is there a way a override those 30 mins? Thank you!
Panasonic and Sony both have reasonably priced mirrorless offerings that can record video past the 29:59 mark. I understand they do this because it’s cheaper for them with import taxes, but I was surprised to see that even the nearly $4,000 EOS R5 still can’t record past that same limit. Are all the canon DSLRs like this? Thanks.
Hey all
my friend wants me to record a concert, I've got a Canon RP. I almost exclusively use it for photos so I need advice on the best use for it.
Do I need the webcam kit? (plug in battery, USB cable?)
Should I just run it raw w/o anything plugged into it and hope for the best?
I definitely want at least 4k/30 (edited from 60 my bad). My memory card says it can do over 2 hours on it (it's a big one) so I should be good there, right?
Im' running it right now for a 15 minute test to see battery drain/quality/etc.
Thanks in advance for your tips.
