I know this has been posted before, but I'd like a little advice based on my situation specifically. I'm still pretty new to photography, so please go easy on me if I'm not wording things right haha. I currently have a Rebel T7, my first camera. I'm a hobbyist photographer, with no intention to make money full time from my pictures, but wouldn't shy away from doing it on the side in the future. I've had people offer to pay me for my shots with my T7, so I know an upgrade with a little more experience would benefit me. I like to do portraits, landscapes, and wildlife. There will be plenty of low light situations too. Possibly small events at some point. I don't care to do video so that isn't too important to me, but again I wouldn't shy away from it in the future. I want to upgrade and switch to mirrorless, and I'm stuck on whether to choose the RP body for $1,000, or spend the extra and get the R body for $1,800. At the moment I mostly use my EF 50mm f/1.8 STM and the kit lenses that came with my Rebel T7, EFS 18-55mm and EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6. I will be getting a mount adapter for whichever I choose anyways and using these lenses in the meantime until I can grab some new ones. I like that the R has 8fps over the 5fps on the RP, which will come in handy when trying to shoot wildlife. Is it worth it to spend the extra $800? I have a little cash saved up, and I really want the R but it will definitely be a little bit of a dent in my savings. I will probably not be upgrading the body for another few years unless I come across a good deal, so this will be the camera I use for a bit. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

Hi all,
Redundant question probably but I'll give you some context.
I am: Hobby photographer, Looking for an upgrade from my dslr to mirrorless and full frame. Don't need anything more than the cameras in the title and I've found both used.
The eos R I bargained to €800 with EF + RF adapter. (Slightly cheaper than going rate). The owner lives over 2 hours away, I don't really need to be there and I'm not sure about clicks. Has good reviews on the marketplace website, so should be trustworthy.
The eos RP comes with 6 months warranty, has 4700 clicks, for €685 without adapter. Adapter is about €100 - €120. (So essentially the same) I can order this one and have it tomorrow.
I know the differences in quality between the two but I was wondering what real world differences would make the R a no brainer?
Update 21 July 2024:
I ended up ordering a used, eos R with 12 months warranty.
Didn't pick up any RF lenses yet, but got an adapter. I have some EF L glass and will use that until I know for sure what I want to get.
Since I've only used APS-C, I need to get used to the wider FOV and less reach on my lenses. I've been using the 24-105 f4 mainly this past year,
Wondering if I'll miss the reach at 105 or not.
