The canon selphy seems perfect for what you are going to use it, running costs are not low, but they match your volume, the only thing you need to consider when you compare the output to a lab is that dye inks (such as the ones the selphy uses) will not last that long, especially if you expose them to sunlight. If it's a once and done job, I'd just take it to a print shop. They'll give you higher quality prints than any home printer could and you won't have to worry about the upkeep of a photo printer. More on reddit.com
