August 8, 2025 - I used my mobile hotspot to set it up, but that only set it up as an AirPrint printer and I cannot find a way to download a driver to be able to use it as an offline printer. I'm decently tech literate but not an expert by any means. I don't want to rely on my phone's hotspot every time I need to print something out, that's why I have a USB cable. Is there a solution that I'm just not finding on Google? EDIT 1 hour later: I was on a chat with Canon support and he seems to think my USB dongle is not sending the info correctly. My Mac only has C ports and the only printer cables I have are B, so I have it connected through a dongle.
