Canon’s press release states ‘It’s now possible to record up to six hours of regular video or 1.5 hours at high 119.88/100p frame rates*.’ *Dependent on battery level, memory cards, and temperature. However, when I asked Canon directly they told me that the 4K 120p is limited to 12min because of heat issues. More information on the heat issues can be found further done in this article. It has some cool video specs, but this is primarily a high-performance still photo camera. Canon is calling it a mirrorless version of the 1Dx III. I'm glad that they're being so forward about the video limitations this time around-- it was a huge clusterfuck for them when news slowly leaked about the R5's video limitations. More on reddit.com
