August 20, 2025 - I like using the CinemaGamut_CanonLog3-to-DCIP3_DCI_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube LUT since it brightens up the video and makes the colors pop 😀. On the left, we have the raw footage, the middle photo is using my favorite LUT, and the right photo uses the BT2020_709WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0 LUT, which has a more natural look to it. If you want these LUTs to be available for quick access in Adobe Premiere, you can add them to the “Basic Correction Dropdown Menu by copying the LUTs to this folder:

May 4, 2021 - There are SO many LUTS available for download on Canon's website and I can't make sense of most of them. Which one should I use with my R5 if I am shooting C-LOG 3 and Rec709? I want a nice starting point to then begin my color grading. Thank you! ... The naming goes like this: color space_canon log version_to what space you wanna grade in_grid size (you can either use 33 or 65) If you're shooting in the 709 color space in clog3 for example, then use: BT709_CanonLog3-to-BT709_WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0 or BT709_CanonLog3-to-BT709_WideDR_33_FF_Ver.2.0

July 19, 2023 - What I do is to use the following official Canon LUT-s: BT2020_CanonLog-to-BT709_WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube BT2020_CanonLog-to-BT2020_709WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube I use them as "Input LUT-s". I have tried to use Color Space Transform but I got some garbage. I also have to make the following change to get the full Canon R dynamic range by choosing the following in DaVinci: Clip Attributes -> Video -> Data Levels -> Full I hope it helps. ... Revisited the Entire LUT Pack & Updated the CLOG 3 LUTs and removed CLOG2 & CLOG Support for these cameras. Exposure and contrast Problems have been eliminated. These are the Perfect 12 in my opinion and works great on my R5 & R6 Footage.

Although Canon does provide official C-log conversion LUTs, those LUTs are meant for their cinema line of cameras. They're too punchy, skin tones look off, and vibrant colors quickly turn toxic. That's why I created a C-log LUT pack specifically designed for log footage from cameras like the EOS R, R5, R6 and 5D Mark IV.
