Netflix has approved the Canon EOS R5 C for use in its productions, making it the first hybrid Canon camera to make the cut. It joins the Panasonic S1H as the only two approved cameras that are typically categorized as hybrid photo and video cameras.

Canon says the new march 2023 firmware for the R5C improves image quality in clog3. Could be that that is why Netflix approves the camera now.
For now nobody seems to have compared what exactly changed in the image quality and Canon also doesn't give any more information.
A firmware update for anamorphic lenses ny Sirui with a 1.6 stretch would be cool. Also unsqueeze in photo mode would be so useful!
