Older SELPHY vs newer models
I have a CP910. I'd be shocked if there was a difference in print quality. It uses the same paper as everything else. I think the only thing that changes is the USB connection, WIFI speed, and screen quality. More on reddit.com

I’m gonna catch hell for this, but the Canon Ivy and all Zink paper printers make garbage prints that look and hold up like trash. I had one and it was tolerable for things, but choked and died when it came to people. Skin tones are just way too brutal for it to handle. I’m a woman of color and it especially chokes and dies on my tone compared to my Caucasian boyfriend. Literally get any dye sublimation printer is better than any Zink printer when it comes to quality prints. I started with the Ivy and I’m not going back. Canon makes way better printers at that same $100 price point. More on reddit.com

October 11, 2023Canon Selphy CP1300 or CP1500
Can't comment on the 1500, but got a 1300 for Christmas and happy with it. Hooked up to my WiFi without a hitch. Installed the Canon print app on my Android tablet and printed off a couple of 6x4 photos resident on my home server (Synology) via the tablet. Worked perfectly well and the print quality seems acceptable for what it is. I intend to use it for favourite wildlife snaps in a (gifted) album. More on reddit.com
