Does Capital One charge ATM fees or surcharges?
I sometimes travel. My US debit card Capital One 360 has switched from mastercard to discover network. I notice I can't even withdraw from any ATM's because of this reason. I am traveling in Mexico.
Does anyone know which ATM works with a Discover debit card? I checked online and it says HSBC and Intercam but the fees are much higher than Banamex or Santander. Anyone know how much can you withdraw at once and the fees? Can I even withdraw from any ATM's here? I normally withdraw from the same ATM's on my previous visits here because you can withdraw a decent amount and the fees were pretty low.
I do have other debit cards like a BoA and Ally but I never used those because fees with BoA I believe is $5+ 3% of the withdraw amount. Allybank I believe is 1% of the withdraw amount. Both you have to pay the ATM fees as well. Capital One 360 debit card, only fee was the ATM fee. For someone that needs to make multiple withdraws from ATMs, what is the best option here? I'm not sure if my card can even withdraw from HSBC?
