For the last few weeks, I've had some trouble with the mobile app on Android. I try to open it and it just shows the capital one icon and spins endlessly. My wife's phone doesn't have this problem, I have an s21 and she has an S23, so basically the same phone. The only way to fix it with basic methods is uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but then it works only on initial login. If I clear all app data, it does not fix it.
I would love it if anyone had any troubleshooting ideas. Highly considering canceling my card over this, not being able to access my account in mobile is a deal breaker.
Is anyone else having problems with the capital one app in the OP6 after updating to Android Pie? Every time I try to open it it shows a blank screen. I deleted the app data, uninstalled and still shows the blank screen. I would appreciate if someone knows a solution. I wonder if it's not the only app with that problem. I still got to try the rest of the apps I use.
Edit: October 4th, about 2 weeks and still nothing, the issue persists. I haven't been able to use the app. It still shows the blank screen. It's clearly on Oneplus' side because the app works with other Pie ROMs.
Edit 2: New CapOne update. It seems to be fixed working now, thankfully.
Recently I have lost the ability to log into either of the above mentioned banking apps. I try to keep apps up to date regularly, but recently, these two keep crashing at the login screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled them, updated to 5.0.1, and even tried installing them and using them on my work profile, but they all crash at the login screen. Anyone else been experiencing this?
Capital One continues their downslope into frustrating customers and driving them to competition.
Now, to check my bank account while lying in bed I need to have my debit card with me.
To make it worse, to send a payment with Zelle I need to additionally upload a government issued ID every time and make a selfie. Ridiculous the measures they are forcing on top of and in addition to already authenticating me through my username and password and saving my FaceID credentials.
Anyone else having issues?
Seems to be website and app is down when trying to login. On the Mobile app it says unauthorized and on the desktop keeps cycling back to the login and doesn’t acknowledge what has been entered
Edit - down detector is now showing the issue is pretty wide spread at the moment

I have been a client with Capital One since it was ING and loved it, but I cannot access my online accounts.
It has been down since June 20, 2025!
I have spoken to between 20 and 30 people, and they always told me to wait five business days and try again. I did this, and the same "SNAG," and "they are working on it."
A huge problem is that the IT says it is OK and closes the ticket, so when I call and they open another ticket, it shows only one day of problems.
Also, there is no step to assign only one person to fix the problem after one week.
It is too sad, but it looks like I have to go somewhere else after 25 years.
