Its likely for a product they only offer in their branches and it would have a $15+ monthly fee or ability to waive it with high balances/high direct deposit. Note that when you go to a Japanese atm there are 3 fees the fee the atm charges. For 7-11 atm this caps out at 220yen if the atm asks you if it wants to do a “convenience conversion” do not do it. It’s always the worst possible choice. Always do yen your bank will charge you fees for accessing a foreign atm. You need to refer to your banks fee policy as to what you’re fees will be for that. I have a 360 account and I noticed today they have new wording on their website that says the following:
“For certain banking products we offer, fees assessed at any ATM within the United States and at some ATMs located outside the United States will be reimbursed within 5 business days, up to $15 per statement period.”
It’s been a while since I used my 360 debit card for withdrawing cash internationally but I keep it for this reason. Can anyone say if they have used it recently internationally and had fees refunded ? Does anyone know the fine print behind this change ?
I called capital one but I couldn’t really get a clarification from them.

Where does it say that on the website? This might be a game changer! I've been reluctant to use capital one due to their lack of ATM reimbursements but they're known for having amazing everything else like website and app and stuff.
