How do I check my Capital One credit card balance in the app?
How do I deposit a check with the Capital One Mobile app?
Why is my new Capital One credit card not showing on the app?
BG infor: The log in account is probably around 22 years old (parents made it when I was young, I’m the same age)
I tried the stupid enrollment process but the card doesn’t show up there either.
I’m only stressed about it bc I will be using it to pay rent (and ultimately build credit).
I just got an email saying my new credit card shipped. It’s a new credit card account as well, though I’ve quite literally had my cap1 account since I was born. The account isn’t showing up in my log in and there is no tracker that I can find, as well as google saying “there is no way to track the card”. Then why does the text and email say I can?? I’m wondering if it has to do with the amount of accounts I have. You can’t remove deleted bank accounts from your profile. I have….
4 checkings (1 closed, 2 unused (both are co-signed by my parents and so I can’t close them myself))
2 savings (1 closed)
3 credit cards (2 closed)
I know it sounds like a lot, and it is. I made a lot of bad financial decisions as a teen so my great idea was to “start over” with a new checking account lol. And I also have a joint account with my roommate for house stuff.
Anyways, idk if that has anything to do with it. I hate hour unorganized my account is and wish I could just make a new one and only have my open cards.
TLDR; Capital One told me I can track my card in the app, but the account doesn’t show up. I’m wondering if it has to do with how many accounts I already have? Thx.
Hey everyone, hope you can help me out here cause I'm baffled. Sorry if this has been asked before.
My wife has a Capital One card and she likes to throw money at the card a couple of times a month to pay down the statement balance so we don't get charged interest.
Now, for some reason, (I didn't know this until she told me) Capital One doesn't seem to give you an updated statement balance based on credits received, or payments made throughout the billing cycle. When you go to the bill pay option it just shows you your full statement balance, not including credits or payments. My wife has to literally calculate the amount of returns, and the amount of payments, and subtract it from the total statement balance for the month. Then she has to use the "other amount" option and pay the calculated difference. Shouldn't Capital One just automatically do this for you?
I have used Chase card for years, and Chase updates my remaining statement balance throughout the month if I make payments or if I make merchandise returns, etc. When I go to pay, I just choose "remaining statement balance" and go about my day.
Does Capital One really expect customers to track these transactions (credits, payments, etc) and calculate the remaining statement balance? Or am I just not looking in the right place for the remaining statement balance in the Capital One app?
Thanks for the help!
