It’s just plain tacky.
Covering nearly every inch of your car in Christmas lights simply because you’re following a social media trend takes away any and all originality from the idea. (Admittedly, seeing such a vehicle for the first time does have a bit of a wow factor, but after seeing it for the 100th time you realize it is simply not that unique of a concept anymore.)
The expense of just the lights alone (not to mention the hundreds, if not thousands, of suction cups/adhesives/whatever else is used to secure the lights) is such a waste of money.
The amount of time and TEDIOUS WORK necessary to assemble said tacky trend is crazy.
It is a visual distraction for other drivers which is never a good thing on the road.
Isn’t it illegal in some states or counties?
