Its not the pop socket, its your magsafe case. Not all cases have the same strength, i have an expensive Nomad leather iPhone 15 magsafe phone case and it has a pretty weak hold, whereas my friend’s CaseMate magsafe phone case has a VERY strong magnetic hold. I would prioritize a strong holding magsafe case to not lose your magsafe wallet! I gave up on magsafe wallets because i didnt wanna forego my smooth leather phone case. Lol. More on reddit.com

Long story short, l'm considering whether to use a MagSafe wallet full time. Although I'm a tech head and have used plenty of MagSafe accessories, I never switched over to MagSafe wallets.
On the one hand, l'm still a traditional wallet carrier. My main reason was for security as I was worried about losing both my phone AND wallet if I misplace my phone. Additionally, I've always been worried about the wallet coming off and I don't notice. On the other hand, I barely carry any cards lol (an ID, a debit and credit card). I also don't carry cash. Only do so when I know I will need it. As a result, l use primarily thin wallets or card holders, which a MagSafe wallet could entirely replace AND allow me to carry one less item when I leave the house.
What has y'all's experience with MagSafe wallets been like? Should I give them a go for once?

I use one daily and I like it. I have 3 cards in it. It only ever comes off when I drop my phone so no complaints

I haven’t used a regular wallet in years.. I mean I still have one that I keep hidden with other cards that I have. But I store my Apple Card, Debit Card, and License in this wallet. When disconnected it’ll give me a location of where that was, which is only whenever I get into my car as I use MagSafe for holding my phone up in my car. Also if someone were to find your wallet, they can connect it to their iPhone to get a phone number to contact the owner/you. But I’m never the type to lose my phone, it’s always by my side.. can’t ever think of forgetting it, it’s beyond me.. but I do have a watch that can track the phone so.. To me it’s very secure, haven’t had any issues of it falling off personally. It has an even stronger connection if you use a MagSafe case. But I just raw dog my phone (no case and no screen protector)
