Hey all, looking to get into playing the piano and costco has a Roland Nuvola piano for $599 at my location. Havent been able to find many reviews over this piano but its seems like it could be a good deal. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Finally got the piano! It sounds well and the build seems sturdy. Thanks for your input and helping me make a decision. Any tips for beginners? Hoping to learn the keys in a decent amount of time, not my first time playing/reading music(Clarinet was my first) so hopefully learning to read piano wont take so long Link to photo

This is one of the best deals for the money. Edit to add: this keyboard appears to be a hybrid of the FP-10x and FP-30X and shares the same action as the FP-60X at a fraction of the price. I started with an FP-10x and it was a great keyboard. The speakers were mediocre and the number of sounds limited, but you could always use it to drive an amp and a laptop. I was always using the default piano, anyway. I upgraded to an FP-90x, but tbh it isn't as much better as the price would lead you to believe (4x as much). I have since upgraded to a refurbished Yamaha UX at my piano teacher's urging. She said she could notice a difference in my touch after only a few weeks. I still use the 90x for fun stuff, but almost everything I do is on the real piano now.

Hey, y'all! A bit of a strange request but if you're at Costco and you see the casiotone portable piano (for $120) plugged in, could someone tell me if the keys respond to how hard they're pressed? (press lightly and it's quiet, press harder and it's louder)
My Costco has it on display but it's never plugged in and it's driving me crazy! It's a possible gift for my mom AND it's on sale but that's a very important feature for her..
(I've tried researching it but all of the videos I find online are the wrong model)

I think the term is touch responsive or somewhat like that. I bought one of their keyboarding as a gift, and it was mentioned on the outside of the box. The $120 one may not have it. Edit: it is not available on the $120 but is on the other models. Shown on the Costco app.

I've been looking for reviews on it and nothing comes up, so I'm wondering if this is just a Costco-branded version of the CDP-S100 or something. Looking at the Reddit keyboard database, no one seems to own this either...
Costco and Casio are both trusted brands in my book so I can't see where I'd go wrong. About to take the plunge for this, but I'm not familiar with my digital pianos. Are there any glaring red flags in the description?

They're $500 in the UK. Can you play/listen to it before buying? If it sounds good, feels good, has the functions you need, buy it. Personally, I was only really bothered about weighted keys and decent sound. I have a Roland and don't ever change sound settings (i.e. instrument sounds), don't need to record, or bluetooth or do anything like that. Depends on what you need/want as to what's a red flag. If it's just something to play and listen to, go play it and listen to it!

For what it’s worth, I received a Yamaha DGX-530 from Costco 11 years ago as a gift. It was the same price and it’s been great this whole time. I’ve seen very little about that model online and it seems like it was a limited run special just for Costco at the time, but really it’s great. I play it about as much as I play my acoustic piano — the headphone jack is worth a million bucks with two kids and a wife at home.

Hi - I have this piano, as a renewed beginner (played when I was a kid, was okay, promptly quit as a teen and didn't touch a piano again for 25 years). It's worked perfect for my lessons. My only complaint is the pedal, which legit sucks. The price is decent and I couldn't find an 88 key option that was a better value.

I’m looking at the same one, and can’t find any information on it, I’m wondering if it’s a costco exclusive. It was on a shelf above my head when U was at the store today, but i played around on it and I’m in love. It feels like a quality paino, not a plunky toy.
