What does the mattress protection plan cover?
The protection plan covers stains, rips, and tears from any single incident. This includes spilling coffee in bed, ink stains, and common accidents from children and pets. There’s no deductible and no limit on the number of claims you can make. That means that no matter how many times you move, or how many times you have breakfast in bed, you’ll be covered.
I have specific medical problems. How will your mattresses work for me?
While Casper mattresses are not medical devices, many customers with back pain or other sleep-related conditions have shared positive experiences. The orthopedic mattress design of our Dream Max and Snow Max models have even earned endorsements from the American Chiropractic Association. As every medical concern is unique in nature, we always recommend consulting with your medical professional regarding your specific needs.
You can also check out verified reviews from customers with similar medical concerns to find the best mattress for your unique needs.
Is a foundation the same as a box spring?
Not quite. Both bed foundations and box springs provide a base support layer for any mattress type. However, box springs add a little extra give and increase breathability, while foundations are for overall support.
A box spring is any wood or metal bed frame containing coiled springs covered by cloth. This once-popular design is now mostly found on older beds.
A foundation is any non-spring bed base, from metal or wooden slats to solid platforms. Slat models, often referred to as slatted foundations, provide more air circulation and flexibility, while solid bases give the firmest support.
Both slats and solid foundations are an ideal box spring alternative for better mattress protection.
