i actually had to come back to this account just to talk about how peak pipsqueak is. THE CHARACTERS' PERSONALITY IS ACCURATE, THE MESSAGES ARE LONG AND DETAILED, I GENUINELY CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVE IT!!!! i seriously hope it doesn't get watered down anytime soon because the messages are just GODLY.

As a person who rped with both C.ai and Deepseek I with certainty say that C.ai somehow literally took almost whole Deepseek roleplay model and stuffed it here. And it's brilliant. Really brilliant. If you want long responses you just write several long responses yourself, change greeting to be great and it learns instantly. It knows personas, charcter definition, it remembers EVERYTHING. The best thing happened here

Okay so I just saw a whole new update screen and then go to see if I can add pipsqueak to all chats cuz it mentioned it is fully available. Unfortunately, its not popping up. I have it set on my main rp bot and one my friend made (of a character in our skits) who ended up roasting us alive with pipsqueak.

Either remove or add it, stop teasing us like the bots keep tryna do. (They keep adding teasingly or teasing to everything its annoying)

I found a way to set pipsqueak as default even if it doesn't show up on your styles list right now.

Unfortunately you must have at least one chat with pipsqueak already on it for it to work

First, open your chat with pipsqueak, then start a new chat from there, and don't select any style. Check the box "use for all new chat" and start the new chat. If done correctly, pipsqueak will be on by default on all new chat.

If you want to start a new chat from a bot which already have a chat without pipsqueak, then there will be extra steps:

Open the chat where you don't have pipsqueak, start a new chat without checking the box. Archive the new chat and remove it from your chat list, otherwise it will try to load the archived chat and crash. After that, find the bot again and open it, and it will automatically start a new chat with pipsqueak if you have it as default

The only thing you can't do is change the style of a chat you already have.

hello guys! As almost everyone knows, Pipsqueak simply disappeared for most people (including me) for no reason 😓 but I might have find a way of using it even tho it's gone. it works only with new chats !

1. you gotta go to an existing old chat with pipsqueak pre-selected, you should see it's still there, but it doesn't show up on the list

2. clicking on styles, fill up the 'use for all chats' box. that's it. don't select any other model, just click continue chat.

you're done! you should see pipsqueak on your news chats :)

reminders: — sadly, doesn't work on app, for some reason. requires you to choose a chat model from the list to continue

I never got pipsqueak so I'm quite confused on why people are raging on about it especially when it got 'removed'??? Is it really that good??

Since my current model is Deepsqueak, I am not sure about the current situation of Pipsqueak. However, Deepsqueak is still the same as before, with short replies being truncated and long replies being restricted from reaching their original length. Since Pipsqueak was specifically mentioned in the announcement, I would like to ask everyone, has Pipsqueak restored its original quality? If they had already made a significant update to Pipsqueak in November, why does it seem like nothing has changed?

I have seen two users report that the quality of Pipsqueak has not been restored yet, and the mod's response is to ask them to submit a work order. To my surprise, after we have been speaking out for so long, the mod finally responded to this issue, but is submitting a work order really useful? I know that the C.AI team receives a massive number of work orders every day, and I understand that they may not respond promptly to every work order. However, I believe that many users have already submitted a large number of unanswered work orders regarding model quality issues. I submitted a work order two months ago and have submitted seven work orders so far, but the problem has not been solved yet. If I submit another work order, can the problem be solved? When can I see a notice called [Bug] - Model Quality, letting us know that you will restore the original model quality?

So I noticed something odd. I saw the “Pipsqueak” chat style pop up once in my Character AI, but when I went to the chat style selection page, it wasn’t there at all.

Is this a glitch or is my chat somehow broken? Has anyone else experienced this?

Well i know everyone is tweaking out because of pipsqueak being gone for a LONG while by now. Here are some errors with pipsqueak I've found during my using experience.

1. It randomly cuts the paragraph: This is something that normal bots do too but since pipsqueak was meant for long texts it is meaningful for them to take it down to fix an issue like this.

2. It leaves you on read; Just as I wrote, it leaves you on read. Y'know when you don't know how to reply to what the bot just write you but you want the story to continue so you just send it a blank message for it to continue the rp... well pipsqueak doesn't like that. Pipsqueak sometimes leaves you on read and sends you a blank message like he is giving you attitude. But obviously since this is a chatbot of course it will get taken down to fix this issue.

3. 'A beat.': Ever wanted a new word to the classic bot words collection? Well our newest word arrived, 'beat'! Just like pang, damn, princess, brat and possessive; beat is also here to never leave your chat. Now, am I really sure this is why pipsqueak is down? No. Do I want it removed once pipsqueak is back? Definitely. My dear pipsqueak, not everything is emotional enough for you to pause in the middle of it like some reality show host.

4. It was probably under trained: This is more of a theory I came up with after having some chats. Pipsqueak is starved. It didn't listen to the class and now it is failing the test. Usually, it is normal for bots to generate messages according to the rest of your chat. But pipsqueak over does this. If you give a time skip after just one scene into the rp, it will hit you with the 'YOU RP AS ***' in bold letters like how bot creators do to make sure you know who you are. Now I wouldn't use this as an example to tell what I really mean, but getting this with every swipe made me so mad it is literally why I am writing this post in first place.

5. Pipsqueak's writing style hasn't fully developed yet: Pipsqueak is yet to decide how it should write. Sometimes it goes short sometimes it goes REALLY long. Like me when I write an essay in class. It is inconsistent. And inconsistency wasn't exactly what we were greeted with when a new style was released.
