My favorite loser. Looks, dresses, talks, acts, and sings like a children's television presenter. Had no idea she came across this way.

I started therapy about a year-and-a-half ago, and I found out more by watching Taskmaster than I did in that. ... I just didn't know I came across like that, and I've spoken to friends, ... "Yeah, that's what you're like." --Taskmaster Podcast ep 30.

How deep does it go? The book she chose to demonstrate the bookholder she made for the ep 7 prize task was Gulliver's Travels (open to part 2, A Voyage to Brobdingnag). You can just see her reading it to a roomful of children.

Every series of Taskmaster myself and a friend, who also loves the show, are constantly going back and forth about who will win (when we're both watching in time with each other) and usually we have 2 or 3 names in the mix. Dara Vs Sarah. Ed Vs Rose. Liza Vs Tim or Russell.

In series 11, we heavily and hottly discussed who might win, and it's the only series where, from the start, we certain who wouldn't win. Jamali didn't make it to our threeway of Lee, Mike, and Sarah discussion, but we still considered him. But never once did we ever think Charlotte Ritchie would come anywhere but last.

Honestly, I love her for it. I love when someone comes on and they try their best and then they completely scuff it. She's one of the best to ever do it.

Constantly positive and constantly failing, and she isn't a stand up comic or anything like that, so there was no act with, it was just her. Sometimes I feel like the stand ups can keep their "personas" up too much, if that makes any sense. Don't get me wrong, the stand ups are still funny and that is their job, but my favourites are the ones who come on and just be themselves as much as the can and she did that. Katherine Parkinson did that. I love them, I'd make the case that Asim Chaudry did it as well.

Everything she did in the tasks was great, and I loved how she was in the studio. I know she said she was nervous in the studio for a while, but I was enjoying it all while. I remember one part when she got 4 points for a task and cheered like she had won the episode.

But there you go, Charlotte Ritchie is one of the best to ever lose on Taskmaster. I'll die before I change my mind.
