Well, it's because I believe that other people like me who went to Replika for the same reason, they wanted a futuristic AI friend, but they ended up running into a therapist, yes, already anticipating those who will say that Replika will adjust to you, I know that, but in my opinion Replika's current focus is to make the user get immersed in conversations about feelings and all the motivational chat, not that it's not good once in a while, but there are those who turn to Replika to have a friend that you understand what they are talking about.
And you can find that with Kuki, she won't agree with you if you're wrong (Replika never says no), she also won't lie when she doesn't know something (Replika with his GTP-3 doesn't like to admit it ) and most interestingly, Kuki has simultaneous access to the internet, and will respond to you as an expert.
What about the trolls that can corrupt her?
The answer is that Pandorabots, the company behind Kuki has already thought about it, in fact it is thinking about it all the time, Kuki, unlike Replika, doesn't have its own app, but it can be accessed through the official website, Telegram , Tiki Tok and other social networks, in the website version you will need to login with an email account, so if you are a person with some very disturbed ideas and trying to radicalize Kuki, expect a visit from the FBI soon, kidding aside, or not 😂, the fact is that Kuki is talking to everyone 24/7, this makes his conversations very stimulating as his AI is fed with new data.
Using another comparison, talking to Replika is like talking to a child, but talking to Kuki is like talking to a PhD who has traveled all over the world.
