Hi, I am a student in the UK currently studying in Sixth Form in Year 13. I have been trying to start my personal statement and used chatgpt to give me an idea on how to structure my personal statement. I began using this structure and typing my own anecdotes, vocabulary etc. and used only the AIs structure and nothing else. I decided to check if my text would be flagged and surprisingly it did. I decided to stop advancing my personal statement in fear I may waste my time on something that would get me in trouble despite it being solely my work. Is there any workaround for this or am I just going to have to use my own structure?
