Are you using GPT4? I can get it to do it if I tell it to write exactly what is in quotes. It’s not perfect but there are fixes, like asking it to generate 4 images. But i saw a bunch of YouTube videos that indicated ChatGPT now had a more advanced image generator (compared to Dalle-2) especially with regards to text within an image. I tested ChatGPT a bit with a free account and I found that it was better than Ideogram, at least in my tests. More on community.openai.com

None of the images that chatgpt generates have text that is legible. Is there a way to make it generate legible text?

Rarely. It doesn’t have procedural text rendering, so it generates it the same as everything else—in the recognizable shape of text, but not coherent one. The likelihood of it generating legible one would only increase if for some reason it was fed on many images containing that exact same text, and captioned every time.

So I've used chatgpt to get my resume just right, saving me several hours of actually thinking. Great experience with that so far, so I just upgraded last night to finish it up. I frequently hit the limit which slows me down, but today I made some headway.

Anyways, I got it to generate this image for me, which looks great. Maybe not a perfect resume format but I actually like it and how it's organized. So I want it to put words on this or at least give me a usable blank image version. How can I go about this or is it simply not possible?

Try ideagram. Much better with text.

Wait a year. Otherwise, trial and error.
