Hey guys! My husband's birthday is coming up shortly and he isn't sure what he wants to do for dinner. He's cautious of buffets, but he does enjoy a good buffet, especially if they offer some Americana among having other cultural options. He is often left disappointed by buffets where food is less than fresh or it's clearly over-salted.
He also loves buffets that offer less common options like things contianing squid or octopus, as examples.
We live in Ocean County but we're taking a few days off for his birthday and plan to drive up north to visit a few places.
Are there any really good buffets anyone would recommend in the northern half of the state? I want this to be special and I'd appreciate so much if anyone has advice!

What are people saying about buffets in Jersey City, NJ?
"Service is always good. The food is consistently good but don't expect it to be out of this world . However the price for it, with the unlimited hibachi cooking here, makes it worth it. Even their desserts are decent. The ambiance is decent, nothing too special but it's relaxing. If you come here for a good time with some good friends to have some good food. Then it's worth it"

Hello everyone!
Next month my best friend turns 40s. To celebrate we want to hit up an AYCE buffet. We are in Northern Jersey, but are willing to drive somewhere else. Iโm looking for a good mix of meat, seafood, salad bar, and desserts. Just wherever you think is best.
BYOB preferred, but not required.
Thanks!
