To save time I'm considering buying drawer boxes for my closet built-ins. Are there any manufacturers that are known for good quality for cost, or ones that I should avoid that Google might suggest?

Look local first. I get great drawer boxes from the same place that makes my doors, they're not too far from me and I can pick them up. I've also worked with drawers from Conestoga, they were also good but ended up more expensive including freight.

We would also advise that it depends on your region. We've been a distributor of BHK drawers (now a part of Genesis Products) for quite some time, and the quality has been good, but the freight cost associated with shipping can be overwhelming. We started partnering with a local drawer box manufacturer to deliver on our own trucks with other components to overcome the steep freight costs.
