Microcenter's great, but doesn't always have what you need, ESCO is closing up shop and Amazon isn't always fast enough. Where do you go? Any secret places to find capacitors, batteries or arduino boards?

ESCO and MC are the only places I am aware of. If I need something obscure I go to Digikey or Mouser.

Parts express is pretty cool, it's more audio related but that some other items too. They ship quick as it's just south of Dayton. No arduino or rpi but thought I'd share.

Hey all. Moved to the area about 2 months ago.
Where I was from in Pittsburgh, we had a big goodwill that had a computer and electronics section, and I was wondering if any such place exists around here? I’m on the Reynoldsburg/Brice side of the town. (does that count as Columbus?)

Most of the Volunteers of America thrift stores have electronics sections but they're generally literal garbage. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I've never found any "gems" at thrift stores around here, especially Goodwill because anything good they get is posted online for auction.
