Are cheap mechanical keyboards worth it : pcmasterrace
I thought this would be a good place to ask. I don't really care much about processing speed or how it sounds as long as it's not super loud or slow. I use a laptop but I put it up on a stand so I need a separate keyboard to use it more comfortably. I bought the UBOTIE colorful wireless one about a year ago for $40 off Amazon and I knew since it was cheap it wouldn't be the best or last for years. but a couple months ago the USB connector just straight up fell apart on its own, and their costumer service is basically unreachable when I tried to get in contact to get a replacement part, so I'd prefer not to buy from them again. Anything under around $50 is good, although I'd be nice if it had a similar look to the UBOTIE, colorful and not too bulky. Thanks!
Are there any cool mechanical keyboard shops in Chicago? I'm from Mexico and all I can get here is Corsair and those kind of commercial brands. I'm traveling to Chicago soon and I have a new keyboard in mind haha. Thanks!!
