My wife and I make Amazon wish lists to make Christmas shopping easy. I know it’d be better to buy one at an actual store but I hardly ever have a need for a knife and I feel like it’s always good to have one. Because I don’t need one often I don’t need anything super expensive but don’t want to buy something that’s garbage either. Anyone have recommendations on any they have bought and liked for around $50ish?

You're not going to get much for $10 these days. A few years back you could pick up a SRM 710/7010 for under $10 (I paid about $6 for mine) but those days are long gone. These days that knife is going for about $20, and it's still a decent buy at that price.
