In Target yesterday, nearly all the laptops were marked down 40-50%.
The clerk told me that now school has started, they are moving out last year's stock to gear up for the new models coming in for the holiday season.
If you're looking for a medium to low-end laptop, they have some good deals.
The deals do show up online, but only if you search "in stock" for each store.
Hi, I’m a high school student who is looking to upgrade his laptop. My current computer is a 2013 MacBook Air, and I have been eying the Acer Nitro 5 line for a while now. The tasks I will consistently perform are
-Google programs for school (Docs, Slides, etc.)
-playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition and lighter Steam games, and
-developing a 3D adventure game in Unity.
An Acer Nitro 5 with pretty decent specs is currently on sale on Target.com for $700, rather than the normal $1,200. Is this worth my money, or should I pass on this one? An answer within a day or two would be appreciated. I’ll include a link, and thanks in advance :)
Laptop
My son is in 6th grade and has asked for a laptop for his birthday/Christmas. My wife wants to know if we can get it from Target (I know...but we get discounts or something with our Target card). Budget of about 300 dollars, it doesn't have to be fantastic, just a solid homework machine and maybe it could play Roblox or Minecraft. I know very little about laptops. Are any of the @ 300 dollar laptops at Target worth it or should I convince her we need to get it from somewhere else?
here is the laptop i bought him at target:
