For example, a neighbour moved out of my building this summer and I bought his living room furniture - MORABO couch. Love it. Thought I'd hate it. Never thought it would be as good as my ancient old custom one but it's no different. I then bought Ikea plant stands, BESTA units for my TV, TRONES for wall storage in my narrow entry (non-existing entry) and a Persian-style rug. I am so happy with all of it. January 2, 2024Anyone have any luck with $200-300 couches on Wayfare/Amazon?
My husband and I have always gotten couches on Facebook marketplace from people who live in nice neighborhoods. We bought our last couch for $150 and looked it up later and it was a $1000+ couch. There’s also a two seater couch at IKEA we got for $179. It’s not super cute or cushy but it’s held up being the go to spot for our two large dogs and toddler to look out the window. Looking to do a bit of an upgrade and make the place a tad cozier.
My budget is not the biggest ($3.5K) so I'm trying to be very precise about everything (headache). Where does everyone buy living room furniture these days??
My local furniture stores don’t have much variety within the value range. Will likely be looking for online options for this one.

I've had good luck with Macy's sale/clearance section. Their furniture can be expensive up front, but I got a beautiful mid century modern style couch for under $500 a few years ago. It took a little while to wait for something good but I'm very pleased with it
