Anyone have any luck with $200-300 couches on Wayfare/Amazon?
Best place to get a sectional couch under 2k??
Affordable sectional sofas (that aren't gonna immediately break on me)?
IKEA. Are you very heavy? I’ve never had a sofa break on me. We have a inexpensive IKEA sofa that I can’t wait to upgrade once my children are grown. Ours takes a ton of abuse and is still holding up and looking good, unfortunately. Sturdy as ever despite being used as a trampoline daily (I regularly bounce on it myself) and being a play area for cats and dogs. The cushions will need to be stuffed every few years with new poly but that is true of just about any sofa under 1k. It’s my our 3rd IKEA sofa in 20years. My original one is still holding up in someone else’s home. The second was my husband’s before we met and was not the right size/style for our home. This third one I’ve had 5 years.

I am moving into a new apartment and I have to furnish it from scratch. I only plan on owning the furniture for a year or two, and I will not be having much company (mostly for a beer or glass of ice tea before/after a walk).
I'm tempted to get a $200-300 couch off amazon/wayfare, as I only plan to use it for light reading and occasional conversation. I won't own a TV so I don't really need to lounge. Has anyone had any success?
I want a sectional big enough for at least 4 people comfortably.
Based on my brief research, my options look like IKEA, Laz boy, Bobs discount, Costco, Big Lots. Anything I missed or should I avoid any of these places? I think Laz boy is clearly the best option but also the most expensive so I’ll get the least amount of couch but probably the highest quality. Any suggestions? (And yes, I’m aware of thrifts stores and Facebook market place. Just want something new this time around)
