If a number has been queried too often, checkcoverage will show that the device has been replaced (they print the same number on 50 boxes) Case and charging status are recognized normally Popup on the iPhone also exists But one detail all fakes had in common so far, no matter how good they are: With the box open, the inner carton can simply be removed; with Apple, it is fixed and non-removable. How can I check Apple specs based on Serial Number only?
I used this site just now and it told me the model (iPhone 12 Pro Max) and the storage of my device (256 GB). It didn’t give RAM or CPU info, but they’ll all be the same for each model. I'm buying an Apple product in the next few minutes and wanted to ask how you would proceed. It's about Airpods. I would check the serial number on https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and see if it matches the physical product I'm holding. But I'm also sure that there are now fakes that support functions like charging status and case detection (at least I've read about it).
I would appreciate it if someone had a tip

I have to do an audit and report on so many Apple products. Problem is I only have the serial number for the devices, I cant access them to go to the About Apple page or System information page. I require the basic specs like storage, ram, cpu etc. I used the apple serial check page but all that does is list the model number and year it was made no spec details at all

Perhaps, in conjunction, you will find use of the app MacTracker which will show many of these kinds of specs. I just checked and it shows RAM and processor specs. (For phones as well despite the name of the App) Of course you need the correct model, which you can get from other commenter’s link.
