This trail is a steep descent down to a swimming spot along Cherry Creek. This trail is not maintained and is known to be rocky, with some loose sections. Use caution, especially when descending. Trekking poles can be helpful. Diificult with no defined trail. Easy to get lost and into dangerous positions. Camping spots filled with charred fallen trees and debris. The shade is gone and is now an exposed hot messy area. Toilet paper all over the place. Also had a few nudists. So if you bring kids or are disgusted by this as I was, dont waste the time or energy.
