The app goes through a different system than regular orders that only supports one payment method at a time, ideally you could reload the exact amount remaining and pay using the combined amount but the reload system is pretty basic. Orders made in-person can use multiple payment methods including gift cards, cash, and credit/debit cards. More on reddit.com

August 3, 2023Is there a way for us to check the balance of a gift card?
You should find it in premiums where the gift cards actually are, It should say "CFA card" click that, and it brings up a bunch of options for loading a preset amount of funds onto gift cards and then at the bottom it should say balance inquiry. You click balance inquiry and it'll bring up an option for you to swipe or input card info, do that and it should tell you how much is on it. Every receipt with a gift card payment will also tell you "remaining balance" at the bottom and I generally always look at that and tell them. More on reddit.com

I have a $10 chick fil a gift card and I would like to apply it to my mobile order later today for lunch. The order will be above $10 as well since other people will be getting food. Is it possible to put the $10 gift card towards the balance, and then pay the rest using whatever card I have on file??

I had this same problem but was able to resolve it today! You can’t order ahead, but if you order at the restaurant you can ask to split it between a gift card and another card and then you don’t have to reload the card in the app! Hope this helps!! :)
