Does anyone know how to find free audiobooks on chirp?
I was searching a particular author (Blake Pierce) and discovered he had 4 free audiobooks. I tried to find more free audiobooks, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to search for them.
Discovered this free Audible alternative called Chirp. Even have their own app. Had a sale going on now and I got the first 3 Reacher books and a random mystery book for 17 bucks. Not too shabby
I bought a bunch of audiobooks on Chirp during the recent July 4th sale and I'd like to be able to save then to my PC and then put on my phone. I know I can just use the Chirp app to listen to them but I'd rather be able to have a copy on my computer. You never know when these sites/apps will go belly up.
I found an old message on here with some scripts but they don't seem to work anymore.
I also tried using Bluestacks and the official Android emulator. I am able to download the books and play them in the Chirp app inside the emulator, but I can't seem to find where the files are actually located. Nothing shows up in the file manager inside of the emulators and nothing shows up in recent files in Windows File Explorer, either.
I usually just buy from Audible and use Libation to download the books, or I buy the physical media but the prices were just too good to pass up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Audible is just not a sustainable way to spend money if you are buying an entire series of books. Their discounts are bad and marked up I am starting to love chirp. Lots of discounts on Book series. Just got Expanse and Shadows of the apt. What do you guys think? Does anyone else use it?
