I'd really love to have some Christmas themed bed sheets to add to my holiday decor. However, I get insanely hot at night. Most holiday sheet sets are flannel or fleece, etc. (something made for that cold winter night) & I know I'll just burn up. For years, I've been searching for a holiday themed sheet set that is not the aforementioned material, but I just can't seem to find any. Has anyone ran across any? Do they even exist?

Bed Bath and Beyond always has some beautiful and festive sheets in all sorts of materials, including cotton (which will keep you cool at night)

I'm sure I saw jersey and cotton material ones at Target while it was still here in Canada. If you're having a really hard time, maybe just color coordinate regular sheets with some nice holiday pillowcases and/or a thin Christmas throw blanket? I've seen a lot of beautiful beds with a nice white comforter, brightly colored sheets (or vice versa) and that Christmas-sweater-stitched-look pillowcases/accent pillows.

Does anyone know of a brand of holiday style sheets that are NOT made of flannel? I'm a very hot sleeper and prefer cotton percale. Flannel is a no-go for me.

Pottery Barn has some. Company Store has some, but I do not know what the reviews are of them. I have bought the Cotton Percale Christmas sheets from PB before and still have them a few years later. They are on the kids beds, but those sheets come in king and queen. Also, I just picked up one more set from Target that was all cotton. I will need to try to remember to tell you how they are once they are on the bed and being used.

I was looking into flannel sheets and one of my friends says it’s not worth it because (1) you’re usually wearing cozy winter pajamas, so unless you sleep naked, it’s not extra cozy and (2) if you are wearing cozy winter pajamas, you get stuck on the flannel like those felt boards elementary teachers used in the 80s. Also she says (3) the fuzziness washes out with wear.
Is flannel worth it for winter months or should I stick to regular cotton?

Like anything it depends on quality, but I've had a couple of sets from LL Bean for 5+ years now and they're still super soft and cozy.

I look forward to flannel sheet season every year. They are SO cozy, even if you are wearing winter pajamas (although mine are bamboo, not flannel). Flannel sheets eliminate that "cool, crisp" cotton feel that is ah-mazing during summer, but makes your bed feel decidedly not cozy in the winter. Theoretically, flannel sheets should just get softer - they're not really 'fuzzy' to begin with - with washing. I've had mine (Pinzon, Amazon's now-defunct textiles brand) for 8 years and they are delightful. The felt boards from elementary school (and their pieces) were made of...felt. Not flannel. Flannel doesn't really stick together - flannel shirts would be miserable to wear if that was the case. 100% worth it to buy a set!
