I am quite embarrassed to ask this as mostly I am the one who helps people with technical stuff. But where the heck did the settings tab go? If I click the 3 dots, the 'settings' (instellingen in Dutch) is no where to be found?

bro what the hell im in the usa and i knew i wasnt going crazy nobody is fucking answering the issue. theres no inofrmation online and nobody is even upset about it except me. it took me 3hrs to fucking figure out whats going on. appearently google fucking removed the button. without TELLING ANYONE. AND JUST LET US BE IRRITATED BY A FUCKING STUPID FEATURE NOBODY WANTED. WHAT WAS THE POINT IN REMOVING THE FUCKIN SETTINGS BUTTON. MAKING ME THINK I HAD A DAMN VIRUS OR SOMETHING RESTRICTING MY ACTIONS. I ALMOST SMASHED MY DAMN LAPTOP. TLDR GOOGLE IS AGAINTS US AND DOESNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT USER FRIENDLYNESS OR KEEPING US IN THE LOOP WITH THESE RANDOM FORCED CHANGES. GIVE US THE OPTION TO HAVE THE FUCKING BUTTON GOOGLE. GOD. HOW IS THAT OVERLOOKED. I COULDNT ACCESS MY SETTINGS EVEM GOOGLINH CHROME SETTINGS. I HAD TO CHANGE MY SEARCH WORDS 9 TIMES BEFORE I REALIZED THEY JUST FUCKING DELETEDTHE BUTTON. SORRY FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO EXPPERINCED TJHIS THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT IS TYPING CHROME:.//SETTINGS IN THE SEARCH BAR.

I think this is the future - no settings - take it or leave it. Does anyone know how to get to settings after the "update?"

Vivaldi is great and I don't know why I put up with Google Chrome for so long. I needed to download a file from Google drive onto a USB drive, and when I went to Chrome to try and change the download folder there were no settings. I don't have all afternoon to screw around anytime. Google "updates" Chrome in order to prevent users from configuring it the way that they want to. What other reason could there be to hide settings in Chrome? I even reinstalled Chrome with an old installation file but I ended up with the same version with no settings. I say good luck with that. But sadly, probably 80% of people will put up with whatever abuse. Google shells out – end of course Microsoft too. They are even worse

Odd as other poster said chrome://settings - but tbh on my pc I'm on latest stable release and I've never seen the settings option disappear on me from the normal menu method of accessing it so something else may also be going no with your config.
