I am quite embarrassed to ask this as mostly I am the one who helps people with technical stuff. But where the heck did the settings tab go? If I click the 3 dots, the 'settings' (instellingen in Dutch) is no where to be found?

bro what the hell im in the usa and i knew i wasnt going crazy nobody is fucking answering the issue. theres no inofrmation online and nobody is even upset about it except me. it took me 3hrs to fucking figure out whats going on. appearently google fucking removed the button. without TELLING ANYONE. AND JUST LET US BE IRRITATED BY A FUCKING STUPID FEATURE NOBODY WANTED. WHAT WAS THE POINT IN REMOVING THE FUCKIN SETTINGS BUTTON. MAKING ME THINK I HAD A DAMN VIRUS OR SOMETHING RESTRICTING MY ACTIONS. I ALMOST SMASHED MY DAMN LAPTOP. TLDR GOOGLE IS AGAINTS US AND DOESNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT USER FRIENDLYNESS OR KEEPING US IN THE LOOP WITH THESE RANDOM FORCED CHANGES. GIVE US THE OPTION TO HAVE THE FUCKING BUTTON GOOGLE. GOD. HOW IS THAT OVERLOOKED. I COULDNT ACCESS MY SETTINGS EVEM GOOGLINH CHROME SETTINGS. I HAD TO CHANGE MY SEARCH WORDS 9 TIMES BEFORE I REALIZED THEY JUST FUCKING DELETEDTHE BUTTON. I’ve been getting Google Chrome help notifications about 2-Step Verification and other random messages while I'm browsing or even when I'm asking questions here. I use two accounts on Chrome (mine and my brother's), and these pop up on both accounts. Also the google account on both chrome is my account, just the difference is the chrome account.

It’s getting kind of annoying, and I can’t figure out why they’re showing up, especially while I’m having a conversation (like with ChatGPT) or just browsing. Any ideas on how to stop these interruptions?

I have two Chrome profiles, one for home (on a Mac) and one for work (on Windows). I don't want others to be able to see my home one at work. My question is - if I delete my home profile on my work computer, will it also be deleted on my home computer? Am I deleting it from the computer or from Chrome?

The profile is stored on the computer, not on Chrome itself. You can sign into the profile, and it will be synchronised to the cloud, so if you sign into the same account elsewhere, it will synchronise. But the profile itself isn't synchronised; that's per computer. That's because each profile is 100% independent, and so signing into one profile doesn't affect the other. tl;dr It's safe to delete the profile from the work computer.
