So, it seems CIBC Costco Mastercard foreign conversion rates including fees are at par with leading credit card that claims to have no FX transaction fees. It turns out that although Costco Mastercard doesn’t say they do not charge forex transaction fee, the FX rates are the same as Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card. I have tested this in 3 countries, France, U.S. and India. Used same amounts on two cards at the same time. I am wondering how? Anyone had similar experiences?

How do I redeem my CIBC Costco Mastercard cash back?
I am planning a road trip into the US, and plan to stop at a Costco for gas and a few items. I have a CIBC Costco MasterCard. Would it be better to use my CIBC Costco MC when at a Costco in the US, or a Visa that I have that doesn't charge a FX fee? Would I still get cash back on my Costo MC when using at a US Costco?
