What is the typical salary for an entry-level IT Auditor who has passed the CISA exam?
I understand salaries vary based on region. I'd like to understand what a baseline range to expect should be.
I am from the US. I am currently in N. VA until the end of the year but I live in Tampa FL
Sorry, I had to repost this question, as my previous phrasing clearly bothered some people.

Passing the exam doesn't make you certified, which doesn't make you more valuable. The point of the cert is that it proves you've done the work AND can pass the test. It's good you have it out of the way but you've basically just saved a company the cost of the test and that's about it. And to your question; country, and CoL are generally required to guide this to a real number. It could easily range from 30k to 70k and anything in between would be appropriate. Also would depend on your degrees and other experience. In short, there isn't one answer.

Congrats! I'm from the Tampa area too but WFH since my company is out of state. Your pay options are better if you're working outside of FL. Jr IT Auditor $60k, IT Auditor $80k, Senior Auditor $100k, Audit Manager $120k
